Mushroom hunt

One of my favorite things to do in nature is hunt for mushrooms and other fungi. I am drawn to the shapes, colors, and variety of these ephemeral forms and in awe of how magical and abundant they are. I rarely ever notice mushrooms unless I look down, taking the time to explore and notice my surroundings. Finding mushrooms requires you to slow down and focus on the tiny natural world beneath your feet, and I find it is especially calming and fills my soul with wonder and delight, while also reconnecting me with nature.
